f/504 Community Show and Portfolio Review
Join us for a special community exhibition showcasing the work of f/504 event attendees and an exciting portfolio review. Various perspectives from the world of art and photography will weigh in on composition, technique, and creativity. Out of the 10 photographers selected for the show, each participant will receive valuable feedback during a critique session on November 17, 2024. One photograph from each artist will be printed at no cost and featured in a gallery exhibition.
The photo critique will take place at Lapin’s Workshop on November 17, from 3-6 pm, and attendance is required for anyone participating in the show. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided, with an invitation to join the team for drinks afterward.
The critique will feature members of the f/504 advisory board alongside the photographers selected for the show, in a roundtable discussion where everyone can offer feedback on composition and technique. This is your opportunity to elevate your work, with one photo from each photographer chosen for inclusion in the f/504 community showcase.
Unlike a typical portfolio review, this will take place in a comfortable studio space with couches and chairs, creating a more relaxed and collaborative environment. Think of it as your peers and community offering valuable insights to help you grow as an artist.
To apply, please complete the form and submit up to 8 photos via the Google Form. This event will also serve as a fundraiser to support the operational costs of the show and future f/504 programming. We ask for a sliding scale donation of $10-$20+ to our f/504 nonprofit transition GoFundMe. If you are facing financial hardship, you are not obligated to donate.
