Manifest: An f/504 Annual Exhibition
Ferrara Showman Gallery
400a Julia Street, New Orleans, LA
December 14, 4-8
Manifest showcases the work of 12 photographers from the f/504 community, a nonprofit organization dedicated to photography, fashion, modeling, and art. This exhibition highlights a selection of images taken at our elaborately themed events since our founding in 2021.
Since our founding in 2021, our themes have included “Storybook Surrealism,” “Alter Egos,” “Garden Elegance: Wrapped in Divine Drapery,” “Vintage Visions: 1940s Reimagined,” and more. Each theme brings out expressive costumes and styling from the models, captured by photographers in unique and compelling settings around New Orleans.
This exhibition represents a journey from concept to physical object—transforming Instagram feeds into framed artwork on gallery walls. It celebrates the distinct spaces we photograph in, the creative individuals who fill them, and the collaborative spirit that makes it all possible.
The photographers featured in Manifest are Jeremiah Brown, Patrick Davis, Eric Dominguez, Franck H. Godefroy, Frank Gelormini, Joshua Huval, Leon Ledet, Maya Miller, Joliet Morrill, Joseph Ryan, Tesla Wolf, and Chris Wickline.
Each print sold supports the photographer at the beginning of their journey and helps fund f/504’s events and programming. We are incredibly grateful for your support and it allows us to continue offering opportunities that promote collaboration, creativity, and community.
Photography Event: Living Art – Bold, Modular Fashion
Join us at Ferrara Showman Gallery on December 14 from 4-8 pm for Living Art: Bold, Modular Fashion, a unique photography experience held in conjunction with our annual photography showcase, Manifest, during the PhotoNOLA Festival.
This interactive event invites you to dress in bold, eye-catching attire that celebrates striking colors, geometric shapes, and unconventional forms. Think modular and angular—fashion that transforms into art. With curated backdrops and the energy of our vibrant community, this event is the perfect opportunity to experience f/504 in action. For newcomers, it’s a chance to get an inside look at our creative process, with photographs from past events displayed on the walls to showcase our work.
